Happy CNY!

Monday, February 14, 2005

Ooh, yesterday was havoc. Had open house (well, sort of, anyway) and got to see so many people again. Almost like going back to school. Sigh. It was so fun. They changed my house into a mini casino again this year. Lol. And then we even had live piano entertainment courtesy of Josie. Did we celebrate CNY in style or what? =P

My darling nephews on the laps of Joseph, "Uncle Samuel" & Jamie, who all dutifully gave piggy-back rides to the kids. =P

Then after the party dispersed (lol, that sounds soooo... FORMAL) we went off to search for Bak Kut Teh, courtesy of Mary. Drove all around Old Town, SS2, Paramount, & Sea Park in vain. Not a single Bak Kut Teh store was open. Blast. After about half an hour, and suffering from starvation, we decided on Pizza Hut. Lol. Of all places. And according to Ching, this Mat Salleh guy who finished a whole stuffed crust regular pizza all by himself, was jeling-jeling-ing at us. Had yummy dinner, went home feeling so stuffed. Thanks Mary, for dinner. =)

Went home feeling pooped, and studied a lil Accounts. Watched Man Utd beat Man City 2-0, after a goal by Rooney which would never have happened if not for that beautiful cross by the one and only magnificent Gary Neville. Lol. Just in case you didn't already realize, I think Gary Neville rocks, aight? [I can feel smirks here, haha.]Then, just plopped into bed and zzz-ed the night away.

Anyway, went college as usual today, and got a call up from Student Services for an interview tomorrow to join the Student Council. Wish me luck! Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! Hugs and muax xoxoxo ♥
