Oh-Two-Oh-Five.

February 2005, people. It's been a week since I've posted. Oops. Time sure does fly. Anyway, it's the first post of February, the month where red candied hearts dominate and where the little winged chap with the bow and arrow resides. And this year, also the month for mandarin oranges, ang pows, and bad chinese music. Since it's been ages I've posted, let me try to update you on a couple of things that's happened. If I can remember that far back. I realize my memory's getting from bad to worse. I'm aging! *sharp intake of breath* Here goes.

1st Feb - Tuesday
Sis-in-law's birthday. Had yummy-licious Oreo Choc Mousse cake from Prima Deli. Mmmmmmm. Heavenly. I can't believe she's already 37 years old. She and my brother just celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary last month. Times flies, doesn't it?

2nd Feb - Wednesday
Ching and I went for The Echo interview, which is the magazine of Sunway Uni College, to join the editorial board. It was kinda weird being interviewed this time round, after having BEING the interviewer for Leo and Samudra countless times.

3rd Feb - Thursday
Had surprise Maths B quiz. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible.

4th Feb - Friday
Went college early with
Ching again, only this time, the librarian was strict and wouldn't let me in the library without my student ID (which is still being processed) and I'd forgotten to bring my receipt, so it was no internet access for me. And no update for blog. So I went off to the cafeteria and and bought a 435-page mag from the bookshop. Thank god Jane was early too, so I had breakfast with her.

Maths A class was incredibly dreary today, I hate how the lecturer breezes through the complicated concepts, and turns into a tortoise with a sprained ankle when teaching the easy stuff.
Turns out the gargantuan magazine would come into handy during Malaysian Studies. It was soooooo boring. We sat way at the back of the lecture hall and the three of us,
Ching, Jane and me pored over the magazine while poor Sam accused us of abandoning him for the magazine. So, he lay down and fell asleep. Lol. He actually lay over, in the fetal position, and went to sleep.

5th Feb - Saturday
Don't remember what on earth I did in the morning, but we went to
Diane's to chill out after dinner though. Did a lil catching up with each other. Found out that poor Kishwen still has to attend assembly in college..AND sing 'Negaraku'. Lol. Watched Bridget Jones : The Edge of Reason, but unfortunately, everyone wasn't really paying attention or listening, so according to Ching, we missed most of the jokes. Lol. We got lost driving home from SS3, and I swear, we're cursed with SS3. Plus, I can't see well in the dark. I mean, we actually managed to end up somewhere in Shah Alam while driving to Foon Yee's place last time. Imagine that. Yeah, but made it back in good condition, after Kishwen sorta 'directed' us to 'turn to the little lorong on the right to the road with loads of humps and ramps'. Lmao.

6th Feb - Sunday
Went shopping! Lalalalalala. Got five pieces of clothing for RM 150. What a bargain, huh?

Ching came over after dinner and I taught her how to play mahjong. Super addictive. We ended up playing till about midnight with my sis-in-law. Hehe. Now we can sit around the mahjong table, and gossip the night away just like those aunties you see in TVB Cantonese dramas. Now all we need is another mahjong kaki, cos it's a minimum of 3 players. Mahjong lessons, anyone?

7th Feb - Monday
Got my hair rebonded again. Finally. The tips of my hair were still pretty straight from the last time round, but the frizzy roots were growing out, so I got it down. And you know what? I don't recommend rebonding unless you're an extremely patient person. And I repeat, extremely patient. The whole process took a little over 4 hours, and I think I came home with a butt-cramp. Not to mention that Kimarie hair salon only had a grand total of TWO music CDs. Maksim and a collection of 'tong-torong-chianggggggg' chinese new year music. And they kept on alternating between the both. Oh my goodness. The hairstylist told me TV3 was due there later to shoot a documentary, but I left by then. Darn.

Went to Savemart after that for last-minute CNY goodie shopping and ran into
Kien Hou and Nur Akmal working there. Apparently, according to them, SPM results are due out on the 7th OF MARCH! Hell. That's earlier than I expected. Don't know if it's true, though.

Pang, Chris, Paul, Zhi Loon and Shannon dropped by today. Pang's back from NS, on CNY break. Sigh. So nice to see them all. Was not expecting it. Talked bout NS and college for quite awhile. And then Pang showed us some funny looking NS exercises. Lol. That was funny. There's so many different types of push-ups they do in NS. Including this really obscene looking one. Lol.

Well, basically, that's all I've been up to this whole week. Miss everyone dearly, and may be having open house again this year. We had a mini casino here last year. Lol. In the meantime, here's to a happy Chinese New Year, everyone!

PS: I can't log into Friendster. So, if I haven't been replying your messages or approving you, I am neither pompous nor stuck-up. Just a victim from bad internet.
