Back to work. Ugh.

Oh well. At least I have my own comp to myself and the company plays Mix FM throughout the day. That makes it a tad more bearable, I suppose.

Had open house yesterday for the third year in a row. Is it going to be a tradition? I don't know. I hope everyone had fun, though. I did; seeing all these people again, some of which I haven't talked to in months. Especially the Cempaka ppl..
Kusu, Sat, Josie, Diane, Xiong, Wkit and Paul with his oh-so-stylo-mylo hairstyle. Where the hell was Drew and Cheeks and Kapi and Czhia Hao? Grrrr. [Jo doesn't really count la, 'cause I see him pretty often.] And Ching missed out because she was on the way back from Singapore. We all missed you =) Everyone asked 'bout you.

It was mini casino-like: mahjong, gin rummy, in between, cho tai ti. I know
K Vin won big bucks at cards and Mary too, at mahjong. [Psst. Mary's my mahjong student; I feel so proud =P] These two win every year at my place. I'm really starting to think that they got some feng shui thing going on with my house. Lol.

Pics will be up. Sooner or later, as I've been saying for so long. After all, I'm at work now. No time to be uploading pics and all. Sigh.

A bunch of us went house-hopping to
Sioki's place. Again, out came the cards, but didn't play. No more gambling this year for me. At least, I hope so. This is the first year ever that I won money, so that's it. I'm running away with my winnings, hah!

Eight of us left to Salmon Steak after that for dinner and continued with the noise-making [Noise-making during CNY is supposed to be good, right? Since firecrackers and lion dance supposedly 'scare' away the creepy-crawly ghosts, anyway] and the lameness courtesy of the one and only
J.Dong as he calls himself now. I think everyone in the place knew Joseph's name by the time we were done. Which is not a good thing, considering it's only a walk away from his college. Oh well, thankfully I'm all the way on the other side of Subang, in Sunway =P

Wah. Big boss gave us all an angpau each. 10 bucks weih. My collection's growing! *beams* We were all expecting two or three bucks, so imagine seeing that flash of red when you open the angpau when you were expecting a stack of blue [RM1 kind of blue, mind you, not RM 50 kind of blue] notes.

Not bad; the Menara Lien Hoe management organised for a lion dance troupe to come and perform outside the building. So we were all standing outside the building, watching the lion dance until it was half an hour past our break time. Whoops. But it doesn't matter la, we were watching with our supervisor, so I suppose we won't get into trouble. =P

Oh well, I guess that means I better get back to work now. See you guys around next week, my last day working'll be this coming Friday. So, hang kai yum char tai hei anyone? [Not-so proper translation: shopping, mamak or movies, anyone?]

See ya.

Song of the day: Check out Howie Day's 'She Says'.

Ooh, boss just gave us one box of cinnamon sticks from Domino's. Slurppppp.

This job does has it's perks. Sometimes.

Going to fill up my tummy now.
