See, I was at the usual scrutinising in front of my gigantic mirrors, and I realised something. My hair is SO getting longer. *throws confetti*

It is getting longer, and the layers are growing nice and... yeah, and a ton more bimbotastic thoughts which you probably do not want to read, so I'll spare your couple of brain cells from dying. Oh speaking of bimbo, according to the main blurbs in the Yahoo! homepage, Paris Hilton has been sent to jail for drunk driving. Heh. Let's see her try to sing behind bars.

Umm yes, and another bimbo update- the mega Godzilla-sized pimple on my nose has finally gone down a little and I don't look so much like a witch with a wart anymore.

I reaaaally have nothing intellectual to say today. I think all that smoke and alco last night killed a couple of brain cells too. Lavish was so much better than Amber. They at least played Sexyback (which suddenly reminds me of our netball team, and Pek Wah doing the netball team Sexyback dance at the Curve countdown and being sprayed with a mouthful of those spray-ey/foamy thingys by this small kid, lol) unlike that stuck up DJ at Amber, and there was at least people dancing, unlike kayu Eddie and his friends last time. Inside joke, and you all probably won't even find it funny, so I'm not going to bother explaining. Heh. It was mega-packed inside, though. We waited for at least forty mins outside, which is so un-fun when it's cold and windy. Brr. Oh well, at least waiting in line with a big bunch of crazy people is entertaining. Caryn and I tried to squeeze our way through in the front, but failed terribly and ended up being human-sandwiched in the middle. But hey, at least it was warm in the sandwich. Lol.

Finally got through to the front, and got in, and omg, so packed. Like Maison's on Thursday nights. Literally body to body on the dance floor. That, and Ms. Poh Yee is very entertaining when she's ~~high~~ not 100% sober. :P

P/S- Period talk in the car? Funniest conversation ever. Lol. G-Mun, yours come yet this morning? Lmao.

Ohh, and assignment deadline's been apparently extended to Wednesday. Yessss.

Oh wait, apparently Gary Neville is the cover guy for the May issue of the MU Official Mag. Heeeeee. I wonder if I can get it here. I don't think so, though.

Okay, seriously, enough. I need to get back to spreadsheets and AFF 2851 and those 1500 words which are not going to just fall out of my ass with a snap of fingers. No more bimbo blonde thoughts tonight. *nods firmly*

So, wow. Yesterday I had the best food (and probably most expensive too) of my life. Huge, huge thank you to Serena and her goddad for letting me tag along with them. Had lunch at Lucky Chan, which is a Chinese restaurant at Crown along the Yarra River, with the yummiest beef I've ever tasted. Apparently they feed their cows beer and massage them and let them listen to sentimental music to get such good meat. Hmm. Dinner later at Koko, which is a Japanese restaurant in the Crown Hotel. Sashimi, yum.

Now, Crown has a fire show every hour on the hour, so the pillars along the river light up with fire (okay, that sounded weird, but I don't know how else to word it). Koko is on the fourth floor, and the side that's facing the river is completely glass-paned, like ceiling to floor, from wall to wall windows. So everytime the fire show started up, the flames were like right outside the window. Whoa.

Went down the casino before and after dinner, where Serena won money at roulette. Hee. I for one do not understand how people can sit at the Pokie machines for hours. Pokie is like the slot machine, I guess. So, yeah, you just sit there and...poke. Till you get like three pictures in a row.

Oh yeah, and the two times I went in, I got stopped for an ID check. WTF. I suppose that's saying I look young. Which I reaaaaally don't know if it's a good or bad thing. Ish.

While we were leaving, the PM was just about to leave Crown too. Such a majorly huge convoy, I tell you. About twelve guys in suits were just standing around waiting for him and his group, to probably finish eating dinner; and there were like five cars lined up outside the hotel. Janette Howard, John Howard's wife, came out first, and oddly enough, her exit wasn't as grand as our PM's.

So, yeah. Our PM looks every bit the PM you see in the newspapers. A little shorter than I expected him to look. I'm not being very articulate today, but he looks pretty jovial. Oh, and Siti Nurhaliza and Datuk K were with him, and she's very beautiful in real life. Serena and I were debating whether or not to go up to her and ask for a picture, but there were so many other people with her and the PM, and then there were the men in black standing around, plus, we weren't big fans, and didn't want to risk being jakun; so we didn't. Lol.

Oh yes, and Datuk K? His moustache very lebat. Really.

So, I ~~skipped~~ opted out of the second half of Cost Info lecture on the basis that I would go home and prepare my tutorial work for Financial Management and Cost Info tomorrow.

See, that was the plan. All set out nicely. Just calling out for execution.

Had awesome dinner. Porridge. Now, you all know how I usually feel about porridge, but for some reason today's one was great and reminded me of home. We had plain white porridge, with all the teochew/chinese porridge side dishes - pickled lettuce, preserved beancurd, salted egg, fried dace with black beans and luncheon meat. Yummmmmm.

And then, I told myself, right, it's time for tutorial work.

WRONG.

G-Mun and Quinnie came over. And we ALL left to Princes to play pool. Princes is like the only source of entertainment we have at night around our place. Its open 24 hours, just like an eight to ten minute walk away from our house, and you have pool, table tennis and arcade games at your disposal. Reminds me of Asia Cafe a little. Just a teeny weeny bit.

I think I'm getting better at pool. Either that or I just had a very lucky day. I was playing with Quinnie, and had potted my last ball and was going to pot the black next. Serena thought I had finished and started clearing the balls. -_- LOL. Ish. And we played this super fun three player pool game, where you have to pot your opponent's allocated balls, so we played against G-Mun and killed him off first. Hee. *confetti*

But anyway, not the point. The point is that I didn't do any work at all. Omg. This is horrible. I have a 1500 assignment due on Monday, the first welfare committee meeting on Friday, and tomorrow we're going to the city because apparently our PM will be at Flinders to launch some batik thingy undoubtedly in relation to Visit M'sia 2007.

Isn't it weird how we never go to see our PM in our country, but wait till he comes all the way here to a different continent before going to see him? Hah.

Okay, that's not the main reason we're going to the city; it's actually cause we're going to meet Serena's goddad, but still, yeah. We're still dropping by Flinders. Because we're a bit jakun, like that. Lol.

Oh and according to Serena's goddad, Siti Nurhaliza and Datuk K are here too. God knows what for though.

So yeah, we're all back from Princes, and I'm all bathed and moisturised and probably should be doing my tutorial work now, but I'm blogging. Distracted till the end of time, I tell you.

I'm trying to abstain from shopping for the next 30 days, but I think I'm going to fail since we're going to the city tomorrow. How?

Oh yes, and I think autumn is so super pretty. The leaves are different shades of pretty yellows and reds and greens and and the pavements are covered with fallen brown leaves. Walking through leaves and hearing the crunching beneath your soles is pretty therapeutic. It makes me feel extremely child-like for some reason (Yes, I realised the sentence before this sounded pretty sadistic, so I quickly added this one =P).

See, I started typing up this post because Jo wasn't replying me on MSN, and he still isn't, btw. Big shout out to Jo because if he hadn't not replied me, you wouldn't have this update. Hah!
