So, it's time again for another one of my sporadic updates in Australia. We still DON'T have the internet so basically that's rather painful, but we're shifting on the 5th of March, and then we will have full access to the internet...or rather, that's what they've promised us.

I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but the house we're staying in now basically sucks. Really bad. Wooden floors and cardboard thin walls and only one miniscule pathetic mirror in the bathroom and nowhere else. Serena and I have taken to using the microwave as a mirror. I can hear the guy in the next room snoring in time to my music. Blah. So finally, we're shifting, only two doors away, but to a much better place for the same price. And Internet, so that's a big plus already. And a little swimming pool in the backyard. Sounds impressive, right? Lol. Will post pics once we've shifted.

The weather's been getting cold these few days, so I suppose it'll be autumn soon. I have been shopping so much that it's sinful. Sigh. I just saw these gorgeous heels that other day and have been dreaming of them ever since. Everyone here tells me I'm a shopaholic, but I'm not that bad, am I? Heh.

I miss my mini casino every CNY, like Sheng said. It doesn't feel like CNY here at all. I mean yes, the uni is trying their best to make it seem like it, with Lunar dinners, and sweets in angpau packets, and those sweet dried fruits or whatever it is they are, but it doesn't feel like CNY. Bleh. Oh well, better make sure we have a bigger celebration next year when I'm back. Mini casino, back in business. :P

Oh well, that's all for now, I suppose. Classes start today, in about half an hour. Hopefully that won't stop the fun I've been having so far. There's a house party this Friday night too, I want to go for that, so hopefully I can get some people to come along with me, hee.

P/S: I'll be keeping my Malaysian number throughout this year because according to my dad, it's still 5 cents to text to that number from Malaysia for Maxis lines. Don't know about Digi, though. So yeah, it'll still be active, so if you guys want to text me, just text it to that number and I'll reply with my Australian line because it's cheaper that way for you all.
