Listening to: Green Day - Wake Me Up When September Ends
Mood: Nostalgic

TIME FLYING PAST?

Ring out the bells again
Like we did when spring began
Wake me up when September ends

Sigh.
September's ended. Just like that. It seemed like it was only yesterday that I was so caught up with planning the Sunway Ball, calling VIPs up, frantically trying to sell tickets, seeing everyone looking so frazzled, hearing Michelle's handphone ring about a thousand times while she was contacting Phat Fabes and the UVJs. The run up towards the ball was the hectic-est. Passing the door gift bags around, sort of like a little production line, each one adding one thing to the bag to compile over 700 goodie bags. Man.

Madness. This was the state of our Student Council room.

And when the ball ended, it was almost as though it ended too quickly.

TRIALS: THE TORTURE OF IT ALL

Here comes the rain again
Falling from the stars
Drenched in my pain again

Trials. Bah humbug. Whoever invented trials deserves to be shot. Assasinated. Urgh. Why oh why? As if finals isn't enough torturing for us. But they've gotta splat us with damn trials too. Waste of time and PAPER! And they teach us the 5Rs [ Recycle, Reuse, Reduce... and errrr... errr.. Well, I didn't know there were five until I took my Moral Studies exam.] in Moral. Contradicting, I say. Got two papers on Monday, and one each on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The end of the week suddenly seems
so, so far away and out of reach. Someone just shoot me already. *pout*

Well, it IS my blog after all, so I'm allowed to whine and pout and bitch and stamp my foot as many times as I wish.

FAREWELL'S A PAIN IN THE BUTT

As my memory rest
But never forgets

Wake me up, when September ends.

Warning: Hallmark moment ahead. Don't read if you don't have Kleenex with you.

I hate goodbyes. I really do. Especially when I have to say it to someone whom I've grown pretty close too in the space of the past, say, two to three years.

Sleeping Beauty

Mr. Pang Wei Soon!

I remember
Wei Soon was such a shy fella. Haha! Key word is WAS, take note. He never ever spoke to girls! Wei Soon, you chicken. When I spoke to him, he never looked me in the eye. So rude. Lol. I really really hated that.

And then there was that time when he took
Siokkwan out to play that newspaper game during the scounts campfire in Form 4... and he was SO SHY! He didn't want to touch her, or carry her, or do anything else, that he actually got down on ALL fours and asked her to climb on his back. Awwwwh. =P

Yeah, but slowly he managed to warm up to us girls:
Diane, Kapi and I, and started in on all our nonsense. He, us three girls, Jo, Kanna, Drew, Sat, Josie, Paul, Chee Kit and a few others formed the noisiest, most talkative, syok-sendiri bunch of 5 Cempaka. Posing all the time, taking pictures, filming idiotic videos of ourselves, man, we did it all. Those were the times. They were classic.

He was the only person in 5 Cempaka who made his seat in class like home, bringing all the photo framed pictures of himself to nail on the wall beside his place. Talk about self-adoration man. Haha. And then there was that talk of cleaning of the storeroom attached to 5 Cempaka

Drew, Sat, Pang Hugging

We did that drama, where he was my abusive father. And
and making it into our own coffee house, painting our classroom black, putting a disco ball up, all that nonsense that only he can brew up.Wei Soon, you whacked me so freaking bloody hard! I had bruises for awhile after that to prove it. Sheesh. And then there was that other time when we grouped up for our English oral and I made you play the part of the horny older brother who was always watching porn. Hehe. That was fun.

And then... of course, one of the highlights, Merdeka. Where you were so overly 'creative' and 'patriotic'. Yeah, I know you like to think you saved our butts, but to keep you from getting perasan, we just have to keep on telling you otherwise, you know. But really, decorating our class for Merdeka was a heee-uge blast. We had our 'Gerbang Kemerdekaan' thingy, the 'Tanggal 31''penjaga pintus' and the rest of the guys who wore that headband thing and held sticks as the judges walked in. It was great fun.

All that nonsense all of us did together in class and outside class, I'll never forget one moment of it, and don't you dare to either.

And of course, a post about
song, Andrew and Kanna who were our Wei Soon wouldn't be complete without his new hair colour.

But everything apart, regardless of everything, your weird hawaiian fashion choices, your new super-chun hairstyle, your warped sense of lame-ness, and how we always cucuk you, we're all gonna
really miss you. No two ways about it, because above everything else, you've left a mark in our lives so far and been a great friend. And I think everyone you know will agree with me about that. Take care, kawan.
