No More.
Monday, June 20, 2005Sigh. That's two weeks of holidays flown past, barely long enough. Waking up this morning was like paying a visit to the dentist. You know you gotta go, but every single part of you doesn't want to.
And damn, MUFY lecturers are efficient. Well, I mean, they should be for the amount of ker-ching we're paying them; but I sure as hell didn't expect to get our papers back for every class. Strolled into class expecting a nice, leisurely morning with Ms. Susila. [But then again, no morning with Ms. Susila is leisurely.] And wham, back come our papers.
Plus, maintenance didn't open up the divider for the classes, so two classrooms were joined into one big one. So one side, we had Ms. Susila telling us that we didn't do as well as she expected, and on the other end of the classroom, Ms. Sham was telling her class that they did horribly for Accounts and that they were idiots. Yeah. It's not as insulting when Ms. Sham says it, cos well, she's funny. So we forgive her. Lol. Wasn't our ideal back-from-holidays class.
Did pretty good. Way better than expected for Accounting. And as usual made a truckload of stupid mistakes in Maths B. Yep, so I'm a blur, blind, careless dingbat. Nothing new there.
Here are some pics from Mary's birthday; we celebrated yesterday by throwing balls down the alleys. Right. I wasn't a bowling superstar this time round, cause plainly, we weren't using kids lanes.
Reminder to self: Must bring nephews along to bowling in future. To ensure usage of kiddy no-longkang lanes without that much embarassment.
I had loadsa fun. Bowling and the long catching up-slash-laughing lunch session. Hope you did too, babe.
Clockwise from top left: Funny faces - Mary, Suki, Sat looking kiddy enough for the kids lanes, and Jo's not very creative attempt at a funny face.
Suki's work of art on the bowling alley computer-screen-i-don't-know-what-you-call-it thingy. Happily keying in the names, giggling to herself, while the bowling alley attendant was standing right behind her. He came to delete the names, while we all looked away, pretending we didn't know her. Oh yeah, Suki had one hell of a day, with this and her 360 degrees LITTLE incident. =P Teehee. Inside joke, sorry.
Oh no, more classes tomorrow. Oh yeah, we started Moral Studies today. The teacher is most definitely one in a million. Most definitely. She taught an auditorium full of Pre-U students how to find their lil clock buddies. Wheeeeeee! Yeah, Ching is my 9 o'clock buddy. I have another three more buddies. 12 o'clock buddy, 3 o'clock buddy, and 6 o'clock buddy. Gee, imagine that.
