The Last Time I Snapped Away.

Okay, decided to take advantage of glorious, glorious Internet today and post self-indulgent pictures. Whaaaat? Shut up. -_-

Two Fridays ago at Amber for Nelson's twentieth and this other guy, Phillip's. :) I have no idea how old Phillip is, though.

I wore my pretty new 50% off Jap-like-print dress from Cotton On. Hee.

P3080383
Yeah, kinda not very me, but it's so purdy. *beams*

P3080391
Me, Mel and Stephanie, who is Siokkwan's friend. Such a small, small world. She looked familiar when I met her, and when I said my name was Wendy, she peered closely and me and asked, "Are you from Taman Sea?". And then I peered closely, and she looked like Stephanie (Siokkwan: "If you see a tall girl named Stephanie; she very nice one!"), and everything clicked into place. Lol.

P3080397
Joachim, Mel and I.

When it's your birthday, do like the other birthday boys do. Drink up! Lol, I don't know who that other dude in the picture is, but he looks so determined. Like he's going to shove the bottle down
Nelson's throat if he doesn't drink.

P3080393
Cake!

P3080390
Alison, me, Mel and Stephanie, doing what girls do best.

And yeah...that's about all the people I knew at their table. There were another thirty odd people whom I didn't know. Amber was sooo much better than the last time round. More people, better music. Downside- creepy Indian guy who kept on following me around, strange don't-know-what-nationality-guy who insisted I must dance with him because I accidentally knocked him on the head. Oops.
I can't help it if I'm a klutz.

Two days after Amber in the city :)

Went to have lunch with the best friend and we decided to go to Vic Market so she could buy veggies and I could bask in the yit lau-ness of Vic Mart. (I think my English is deteriorating, because I can't think of anything English word to replace yit lau. Die.) Had yummy laksa, and in retrospect, it probably wasn't all that spicy, but I found it spicy. Because my taste buds haven't had a good flaming, burning, spicy workout in ages. How am I going to go back and enjoy Maybank nasi lemak after this year, if that's the case? How?

Went back to her place all full and bloated and lazed around for a bit, watching two eps of Grey's. Left for Target soon after and met up with
Ching's friend from VU, Hon Wai. Hon Wai shopped more that one time at Target than I did for the whole month of May. Yessssssss. That makes me feel very good. Lol. I know I didn't stick to my resolution, per se, but at least I minimised it? Hee.

We saw this while waiting for the elevator. Two guys took the big exercise ball out, probably from the gym, and started volleyball-ing it back and forth. Lol.
Xue, you taught them your hand tennis, is it?!

Took a tram up to Flinders where there was the jazz fest at Fed Square. Sat down, took a couple of pics, listened to one song and they ended their set. -_- Darn. For the little while that it lasted, I liked it a lot, though. Just sitting on the ground, with the weather just right, cool and breezy, mellow music, little kids innocently dancing in front of the stage. I liked.

Yes, I know you can't see peanuts in this pic, but this is the biggest size I can put up from Flickr. The next size after this makes my blog go funny. And my Photoshop is gone again so I can't resize them to the size that won't make you squint. Sorry.

P3100399
The band, who has a very enthusiastic xylophonist. Lol.

P3100401
Me, Ching and Hon Wai. So terrible; why is it that Hon Wai looks rosier than Ching and I? Pfft.

After our short-lived jazz fest experience, the terrible two brought me to
Max Brenner. Omg, so sinful. So terrrrrrrrible. I succumbed to the temptation that is chocolate.

P3100404
...but can you really blame me for doing so? *is meek*

Ate so much for lunch, and then had fondue, and theeeeeeen, went back to Ching's place and she cooked wantan mee and I ate somemore. Tsk.
Rica, Hon Wai and I got into a TVB discussion and it moved on to Korean dramas and they both insisted that I MUST watch Full House and practically forced me to take the DVDs back. Haha. I'm saving it to watch during winter break so I won't get bored out of my mind. Hopefully, I don't get addicted to Korean shows after that...oh, who am I kidding, I probably will.

Quinnie: (looking at the Full House DVDs in my room, and points to the guy on the cover, saying something something something something Rain)
Me: Oh! Is thaaaat Rain? (leans in for a closer look)
Quinnie: (stares at me as though I just emerged from beneath a coconut shell) OMG, you DON'T KNOW WHO IS RAIN AR?!
Me: (indignantly) ...whaaaaaaaattttttt?

Autumn at night. I like.

Suki: (looooong pause, probably getting a -_-" look on her face) Your English got become damn good when you study in Australia meh?!
